REBECCA AMBROSIOU
Rebecca is an adult and paediatric emergency nurse with over 10 years of nursing experience. Rebecca has also completed a graduate certificate in primary healthcare and a certificate IV in training and assessing. She has a passion for teaching people skills that may one day help save a life. Being a nurse in a busy emergency department, Rebecca has seen how parents having first aid knowledge and skills can help save and improve lives. Being a mother herself Rebecca understands how stressful raising a child can be and she wants to equip parents with the confidence to not only save a child’s life, but also to know how to manage common illnesses and injuries and when they may need to seek help.
RUSSELL HENRY
Russell has been involved in Surf Lifesaving at Tallebudgera SLSC for over 40 years the last 10 as first aid officer and trainer. He is also a Level 2 sports trainer working across a variety of sports from primary school level to traveling with Australian teams internationally. He is currently Gymnastics Qld events medical officer a position he has held for over 12 years. Russell has a passion for first aid and passing on his knowledge and experience in a fun informative way.
